Where do I start to find my Wedding Photographer.

Wedding fayres are always a nice place to visit especially if you are looking for ideas and want to speak to a number of wedding suppliers at the same time. They normally house representatives from venues, catering suppliers, wedding dresses and of course Wedding Photographers. But you can also find the perfect wedding photographer for you from the comfort of your own home, sit there with your PJ's still on, open your laptop and let Google do the work for you. Type in your home location and the words wedding photography, for example, Staffordshire Wedding Photographer. Or if you have a certain genre of Wedding Photography that you want, try that as your search, but be mindful that a variety of words can have the same meaning. If looking for a documentary Wedding Photographer words like Natural, candid or relaxed could also be used.

Once you've hit that search button you should have a variety of Wedding Photographer websites for you to start having a look through. Check out their images, browse through their social media sites, see whether there price falls into your budget allowance, find out a bit about the photographer and if you like what you are seeing, send them a message and arrange a meeting.

What to expect from a meeting with me?

I always like to arrange a meeting with my potential clients, either in person or via video call. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I want you to be able to personally connect with me as a person. As a documentary wedding photographer I want to capture all of the emotions of the day, I want to tell your Wedding Day Story as it unfolds, from the morning preparations, through to the dance floor shenanigans with all the giggles, fun, love and tears that will happen, so I want to make you feel comfortable and at ease with me. I never do any kind of sales talk and I will leave my couples and ask them to have a chat to each other before making any decision.

Then what?

Make sure before you say yes that you are all clear on what kind of images you can expect, whether they be romantic and light, dark and moody, documentary or more staged.

If you've done all of these elements and after meeting your photographer you feel like you've got a professional mate with a camera coming to your wedding then I'd say you've find the right wedding photographer for you.

I hope that helps a little...
